The senior management of the Bank are very experienced in the Banking and Financial services sectors and have several years of experience in these fields in Zambia and abroad. Our support staff are also well experienced and competent with many years experience in their respective fields.
The Bank has more than 100 employees of which eight(8) are Heads of Departments. Given below is a brief description of the management team

Managing Director
B.A. (Econ), MSc. (Bus Admin., Econ)
Has held various senior management positions. Managing Director, Zambia National Commercial Bank Limited until 1992 when he resigned to become Chairman of AFE Limited. He was the founder of Investrust in 1995 and has served as Executive Chairman up to June 2000 before becoming the Managing Director, the position he holds to date.

Harry Mafuta

Financial Controller
B.Acc, FCCA, FZICA. He has more than seven years post qualification experience including seven years of audit experience with Pricewaterhouse-Coopers specialising in the audit of banks and financial institutions.

Polombwe Ndhlovu

Head - Operations
Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers with over fifteen years of banking experience. He has held several portfolios with Barclays Bank, Zambia National Commercial Bank prior to joining Investrust Bank Plc.

Over 22 years of experience in the information technology industry including 18 years in the banking industry in Zambia and Zimbabwe.

LLB and AHCZ with over nine years experience in company and corporate legal services. Before his current appointment, he held senior management positions in Zambia Investment Centre and Lusaka Water & Sewerage Company.

Zacky Zimba

Head - Treasury
Holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Zambia. He has 12 years of banking experience of which eleven have been in treasury departments. He has held senior treasury positions in a number of Banks in Zambia, notably of these being Standard Chartered bank and Zambia National Commercial Bank. While at Zambia National Commercial Bank, he established their Treasury department.

B.Acc, ACMA. He is a Chartered Management Account with eight years of work experience. Worked for Industrial Credit Company Limited (ICC) and set up the Lusaka branch. Prior to joining Investrust Bank Plc, he worked for Stanbic Bank Zambia Limited holding senior roles both in vehicle and asset finance and corporate and structured finance portfolios.

He is a Chartered Accountant (ACCA) with over seven years of work experience. He has worked as an Auditor for KPMG. Prior to joining Investrust Bank, he held the position of Head of Internal Audit at Intermarket Banking Corporation where he set the internal audit unit, risk management and compliance functions.
