Investrust Bank - first in Lumwana
Investrust Bank Plc will be opening a new branch in the new mining town Lumwana. Located in the North Western Province of Zambia famously coined as the New Copperbelt. Investrust Bank Plc is the first bank to operate a full fledged branch in the mining town.The bank also aims to support the local business community many of which own and operate mine supply businesses. Lumwana mine is one of the largest open pit mines in Africa. The bank is well placed to take advantage of the new opportunities arising from Zambias economic boom mainly driven by the mining agricultural and tourism sectors.

Databank Research announces Investrust Bank Plc share performance as second best in Africa
Databank Leadership research group has announced Investrust Bank Plc as having the 2nd best performing stock in Africa . This has been highlighted in the half year report on Africa Stock Markets for the period from January to July 2007. The report has also listed the Lusaka Stock Exchange as the best performing stock exchange in Africa for the same period with a return of up to 97% in U$ Dollars and 61% in ZMK
